Under the motto “Seven days of handball – more training, more bonding, and more smiles”, the handball camp “40×20” proudly announces its fifth, anniversary edition, extended by one additional day.
After four highly successful editions, the “40×20” Handball Camp in Ohrid continues to grow together with the children and their passion for handball. For this reason, the 2026 program has been expanded to seven full days, filled with handball, training, education, teamwork, social activities, and unforgettable moments.
From 05 to 11 July 2026, on the shores of Lake Ohrid, within the complex of Hotel „Desaret“, the fifth edition of the “40×20” Handball Camp will take place – a camp fully dedicated to the development of young handball players and to creating a safe, supportive environment where children learn, progress, and strengthen their love for the sport.

7 Days of Training, Education, and Fun
The “40×20” Handball Camp offers a fully organized seven-day program, including professional handball training, individual development, educational sessions, swimming lessons, guided sightseeing of Ohrid, and plenty of social activities and entertainment.
The camp is intended for children and youth aged 7 to 17. Training sessions are conducted by top Macedonian coaches, elite handball players, as well as international coaching and player guests.
The training program includes:

• Work with coaches specialized in training children from the earliest ages, with the goal of establishing a proper and solid foundation for further development;

• Individual training sessions with master-coach trainers, focused on upgrading technical and tactical skills and correcting the individual shortcomings of each camper;

• Visits to the camp and the campers by some of the greatest former and current Macedonian handball players and female players.

Accommodation and Training Facilities
Participants will be accommodated at Hotel Desaret – Ohrid, located directly on the shore of Lake Ohrid.
Accommodation is provided on a full-board basis (breakfast, lunch, and dinner – buffet style), offering a diverse and balanced menu adapted to the needs of children and young athletes.
Throughout the seven days, the hotel provides excellent conditions for the full implementation of the training program, including:

Complete Sports Equipment for Every Participant
Each participant receives an official sports equipment package, intended for training sessions, hotel stay, and leisure activities.
The equipment package includes:

• 👜 Sports bag
• 👕 Apparel for hotel stay, meals, and free time
The equipment is part of the official camp dress code, which all participants are required to follow. This reinforces equality, unity, and a strong team identity, emphasizing that all children function as one team.

Lectures by Top Macedonian and International Experts
During the camp, multiple educational lectures will be held, focusing on:
• Proper sports nutrition
• Sports psychology
• Sports etiquette
• Proper behavior and cooperation as part of a team
Lectures are delivered by leading Macedonian and international experts, providing participants with valuable knowledge and life skills applicable both in sports and everyday life, strengthening them as individuals and as a team.

Social Activities, Swimming, Kayaking, and Exploring Ohrid
In addition to intensive individual and group training sessions, participants will enjoy a rich and diverse additional program.
Campers will attend swimming and kayaking lessons, socialize with peers from across Macedonia and abroad, build new friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Through organized activities and boat tours on Lake Ohrid, participants will also experience and explore Ohrid – a city rightfully considered one of the most beautiful gems of the Balkans.

Comprehensive Insurance Coverage
Each participant is provided with full insurance coverage for the entire duration of the camp. The insurance covers all camp activities, ensuring safety and peace of mind for both participants and their parents.

Certificate of Participation
Every participant receives an official Certificate of Participation as a keepsake and confirmation of a meaningful, high-quality, and unforgettable camp experience.
The certificate represents recognition of the effort, achievements, and experiences gained during the camp.

Price and payment terms
The price for participation in the camp is 420€. The payment must be made in full within 30 days of the start of the camp.

Note: By registering at the camp, the parents agree to the terms of the camp. For each canceled participation in the camp after the term of June 1, we have the right to keep 30% of the full payment. The participant is officially registered with the payment of the full participation price and the confirmation that he agrees with the conditions for participation in the camp.

Registration for the 5-th edition of the Handball Camp „40×20” officially opens on Monday, 23 February 2026, at 12:00 PM.
