Through the implementation of the program and training plan, each camp participant, guided by clearly defined goals and tasks, will enrich, refine, and further develop their handball knowledge. Through individual and group training sessions, as well as additional activities, participants will acquire the following characteristics and skills:













EDUCATIONAL, DEVELOPMENTAL, AND SPORTING VALUES
- Adapting to group work, discipline, and responsibility;
- Caring for the hygiene of shared spaces and personal sports equipment;
- Disciplined behavior during shared meals;
- Developing teamwork and friendly relationships;
- Respecting and valuing teammates and individual differences;

- Adapting to intensive and systematic work characteristic of elite athletes;
- Accepting victories and defeats as an integral part of sport;

INDIVIDUAL POSITION-SPECIFIC TRAINING IN HANDBALL
Goalkeepers
- Assessment of current performance level;
- Goalkeeper stance and movement within the goal area;
- Proper positioning and saving techniques;
- Ball distribution to initiate fast breaks;
- Cooperation with teammates in the defensive zone.
Pivots
- Proper stance and positioning;
- Ball reception and movement without the ball;
- Falling shot technique;
- Moving out of the defensive zone to receive the ball;
- Blocking and unblocking;
- Cooperation with backs and other teammates;
- Shot execution on goal.
Backcourt Players
- Various approaches toward the goal;
- Passing to backs, pivots, and wings;
- Feinting techniques;
- Standing shot;
- Jump shots from the first, second, and third step.
Wings
- Basic movement patterns;
- Jump shots on goal using different techniques;
- Feinting;
- Cutting in from the 6-meter line;
- Shooting after crossing movements with backcourt players.
GROUP AND TEAM TRAINING
- Passing, receiving, and dribbling the ball;
- Organized attack and fast break play;
- Phases of offensive play;
- Ball circulation speed and timely passing;
- Use of blocks, crossings, and off-ball movement;
- Cooperation between backcourt players and wings;
- Creating numerical advantage;
- Playing with a player advantage, with a player disadvantage, and without a goalkeeper;
- Defensive stance and one-on-one defense;
- Zone coverage;
- Player switching and shot blocking;
- Stopping fast breaks;
- Defensive formations: 6–0, 5–1, 3–2–1, and attacking against them;
- Playing against aggressive defenses;
- Fast center restart.

Initial Activities
- Arrival and accommodation of participants;
- Introduction to the training plan and program;
- Daily activity schedule;
- Camp rules and code of conduct;
- Proper behavior, communication, and resolution of health, personal, and other issues;
- Testing and grouping of participants according to age and handball experience.

- 07:00 – Wake-up
- 07:30 – Breakfast
- 08:00 – Individual and group training sessions
- 11:00 – Pool activities and swimming lessons (for beginners)
- 12:30 – Educational lectures (healthy nutrition, healthy lifestyle, sports psychology)
- 13:30 – Lunch
- 14:00 – 16:00 – Mandatory rest period
- 16:30 – Group and individual training sessions
- 19:30 – Dinner
- 20:30 – Entertainment activities and free time
- 23:00 – Lights out / bedtime
